Knowing individual words is only part of reading a workplace message. A useful next step is to identify what has happened, what is still pending and what the reader is being asked to do.

This collection contains six original tests with 20 questions each: 120 reading situations across English, German and Spanish. Each question provides all the information needed to choose one answer, followed by an explanation.

These are independent topic exercises, not translations of one shared bank. They do not claim an assessed CEFR level, an official examination format or professional certification. Organisations, appointments and commercial conditions are fictional.

English: handovers and order updates

Deutsch: Arbeitsalltag und Hausservice

Español: citas y atención al cliente

Read, decide, explain

All 20 questions appear in each attempt, in random order. The practice target is 16 correct answers. It is a self-study target, not a certificate or a calibrated language-level result.

Before answering, find the sentence that supports your choice. Check who is responsible, whether a date is confirmed, which condition must be met and what happens next. Then compare your reasoning with the explanation. No external knowledge of housing law, consumer rights or workplace safety is required.
