US Road Signs — Identify the Sign (MUTCD)

US Road Signs — Identify the Sign (MUTCD)

This is the reverse of a classic sign quiz: you read the meaning and choose the matching sign out of four pictures. All signs come from the MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices), the federal standard used by every US state. The four options in each question are deliberately taken from the same family — regulatory signs against regulatory signs, warning signs against warning signs — so shape and colour alone will not give the answer away. Individual states may add their own signs and word their DMV exam differently; always check your state driver handbook before the real test. Each attempt draws 20 questions; you need 16 correct (80%) to pass.
