Cabinet Maths: Sequenced Veneer Leaves and Trimming Yield

Cabinet Maths: Sequenced Veneer Leaves and Trimming Yield

Original quantitative topic practice in English. All 24 questions are included in a shuffled order. Each question supplies its own data and model assumptions; use only those assumptions. Choose one answer. Practice target: 20/24, not an official examination pass mark. Keep full intermediate precision. These exercises cover the calculation scope in the title; they do not constitute a full Red Seal examination, trade qualification, site design or operating specification.

A supplied veneering plan uses consecutive leaves in pairs for book-matched panels. Each raw leaf is 260 mm wide and 900 mm long. Trim 10 mm from EACH long edge and 20 mm from EACH end. A panel needs one trimmed pair side by side; no further cutting or overlaps. There are 25 consecutive leaves available. This exercise counts material, not appearance quality. Calculate the total usable paired-panel area in square metres. Keep intermediate values unrounded; round the final answer to 4 decimal places if needed.
