Cabinet Installation Maths: Runs, Fillers and Reveals

Cabinet Installation Maths: Runs, Fillers and Reveals

Original quantitative topic practice in English. All 24 questions are included in a shuffled order. Each question supplies its own data and model assumptions; use only those assumptions. Choose one answer. Practice target: 20/24, not an official examination pass mark. Keep full intermediate precision. These exercises cover the calculation scope in the title; they do not constitute a full Red Seal examination, trade qualification, site design or operating specification.

An alcove is 2750 mm wide at the back and 2770 mm wide at the front. Three cabinets have finished widths 600, 800, 1050 mm. Leave 3 mm between neighbouring cabinets, and divide the remaining space equally into two end fillers at each measurement line. An end filler blank must cover the larger required width plus 10 mm trimming allowance. No structural fixing is assessed. Calculate the width of each end filler at the back in mm. Keep intermediate values unrounded; round the final answer to 4 decimal places if needed.
