Bakery Maths: Pan Fill Geometry and Batter Scaling

Bakery Maths: Pan Fill Geometry and Batter Scaling

Original quantitative topic practice in English. All 24 questions are included in a shuffled order. Each question supplies its own data and model assumptions; use only those assumptions. Choose one answer. Practice target: 20/24, not an official examination pass mark. Keep full intermediate precision. These exercises cover the calculation scope in the title; they do not constitute a full Red Seal examination, trade qualification, site design or operating specification.

A rectangular reference pan has internal length 30 cm, width 20 cm and batter fill depth 4 cm. That fill uses 2000 g batter. A round target pan has internal diameter 26 cm and the same fill depth. Use π=3.1416, constant batter density, no expansion calculation and no losses. Make 5 target pans. Calculate the batter for one target pan in grams. Keep intermediate values unrounded; round the final answer to 4 decimal places if needed.
