Bakery Maths: Idealised Lamination Layers and Sheet Dimensions

Bakery Maths: Idealised Lamination Layers and Sheet Dimensions

Original quantitative topic practice in English. All 24 questions are included in a shuffled order. Each question supplies its own data and model assumptions; use only those assumptions. Choose one answer. Practice target: 20/24, not an official examination pass mark. Keep full intermediate precision. These exercises cover the calculation scope in the title; they do not constitute a full Red Seal examination, trade qualification, site design or operating specification.

Use an idealised paper model: a starting sheet has 1 fat layers, length 840 mm, width 300 mm and thickness 8 mm. A letter fold multiplies layer count by 3; a book fold by 4. Perform 2 letter folds and one book fold. After all folding, roll to the original width and final thickness 4 mm. Ignore trimming, compression and volume loss. Calculate the complete 75 mm long strips if cutting along the final length. Keep intermediate values unrounded; round the final answer to 4 decimal places if needed.
