Workshop Drawings: Scale, Units and Missing Dimensions

Workshop Drawings: Scale, Units and Missing Dimensions

Original quantitative learning practice in English. All 24 questions are included. Four supplied cases exercise six related calculation targets; they form one topic, not four separate tests. Every question includes the complete initial data. Use the stated model and retain intermediate precision. Choose one answer. Learning target: 20/24, not an official pass mark. This bank covers the calculation topic in its title; it is not a complete professional examination, design approval or operating instruction.

A paper drawing uses scale 1:25. Its measured overall line is 92 mm. The real part is divided into an explicitly dimensioned left section of 300 mm, a gap of 35 mm, and a remaining right section. A revision changes the real overall length by +70 mm while keeping left section and gap fixed. Use the printed scale only for this exercise; no printing distortion is present. Calculate the original right-section length in mm. Keep intermediate values unrounded; round the final result to four decimal places if necessary.
