Supplied Reinforcement Grid: Centres, Intervals and Counts

Supplied Reinforcement Grid: Centres, Intervals and Counts

Original quantitative learning practice in English. All 24 questions are included. Four supplied cases exercise six related calculation targets; they form one topic, not four separate tests. Every question includes the complete initial data. Use the stated model and retain intermediate precision. Choose one answer. Learning target: 20/24, not an official pass mark. This bank covers the calculation topic in its title; it is not a complete professional examination, design approval or operating instruction.

A drawing specifies a rectangular grid of bar centres. The rectangle is 1700 by 2300 mm. The outermost centre lines are 50 mm inside every edge. Equal centre spacing is 200 mm along width and 200 mm along height; dimensions are chosen for exact spacing. Count centre lines, not intervals. No lap or cover rule may be inferred from this arithmetic exercise. Calculate the distance between extreme x centres in mm. Keep intermediate values unrounded; round the final result to four decimal places if necessary.
